guess what I did today
I burned my Christmas tree!
Well, technically, my dad stuck the branches into the fireplace, but I lit it initially, so theoretically I did everything right? :DDDD
Anyway, yes, Christmas tree has been up all this time… and it’s February now….
I guess my family just doesn’t want Christmas to end :P
It was really dry, since I am wonderful at remembering to water a tree like that. The fires came in short, intense bursts… And really roared. At times, it got so big it seemed like it wanted to leave the fireplace. (Fire extinguisher was right there at all times.)
It was, I think, a little like watching a whole bunch of mini forest fires.
Kinda pretty! In a scary sort of way.
